I am writing to express my disgust that another AM, though not of the same political allegiance, is claiming living expenses for his property in England.  I am not asking for your comment on this, however, I am sure this issue must be debated within the chamber.

Should you be part of this process, as my local Assembly representative, I want you to be aware that I find this completely unacceptable.  If someone has aspirations to become an Assembly member, surely it follows that a residence in Wales should be a prerequisite. How else can you fairly represent constituents, if you are not prepared to be part of the community you claim you wish to serve if you cannot wait to escape back to your home in England.

I am certain that I will not be your only constituent who feels as strongly about this.  I know you have a very strong sense of duty to your constituents, and I am confident that you will make our voices heard on this subject.  Thank you for your time.
